Dr. Janelle Farris

Dr. Farris’s parents took her to a chiropractor at age 15, when she could no longer play sports due to leg weakness and pain. After X-rays and other diagnostic tests, it was determined that she had a curve in her spine, scoliosis. What she will never forget is what her first chiropractor told her: “Janelle, there is nothing wrong with you. Your spine is locked up in certain places and hasn’t been growing right. I’m going to help you.”

After a series of adjustments, she was not only out of pain but running significantly faster. Because her chiropractor gave her hope and knew how to free up her spine, she and her team still hold the school track record they set 30 years ago.

Dr. Farris has since relied on chiropractors for every injury, accident, pregnancy, and preventive measure. At one point, after a severe car accident, she actually became worse with full-spine adjustments. This led her to see her first upper cervical chiropractor. The way her skull, neck, and body shifted and healed from this very specific, non-invasive technique was so lovely for her. She regained 100% function and experienced a complete resolution of her pain.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Farris has opened three practices, including one in a Walmart store, which eventually expanded into 12 locations. She has been involved in patient care for 30 years, both as an understudy and as a practicing doctor. What makes her most proud, however, is going home to tell her Love and two daughters about how she helped people improve their quality of life that day. To this day, Dr. Farris holds great respect for what she considers the original chiropractic adjustment on which the profession was founded. She is honored to bring this type of care to her patients and their families.
